One of two works on paper acquired from Arkley in 1984: see also Untitled [‘Cactus Head’] 1984 [W/P].
This work is clearly related to the artist’s Suicide (1983), the use of fluorescent paint (a rare occurrence in Arkley’s oeuvre) bringing to mind the ‘Skipping Girl’ neon sign quoted in the original painting.
