This canvas is a close variant of Stillife “Tulips” 1996, one of the three canvasses made by Arkley for the Ericsson telco: see general remarks for 1996.

The present work was previously listed under 1996 due to confusion with the Ericsson canvas; it now appears that the earliest reference to this version was in 1997.
